MÅTT MŪN
synth wave / electro pop
Dive into the synth cascades and electronic beats of Mått Mun’s music and you’ll not only find new-wave and dream-pop vibes, but also astronomic visions and a yearning for transcendence. This is what makes his music such a personal journey of self- discovery.
Behind the moniker is Mattia Menegazzo, singer-songwriter from Padova, Italy. After playing in several rock bands, he found his true vocation programming digital synths. The meeting with the label Beautiful Losers led to the release of his first album, Cosmography.
His new album LUX adds more elements to the palette: the 80s fascination and the cosmic imaginary are mixed with cyberpunk visions and industrial vibes, like in the music video of Waves, which is a clear homage to certain sci-fi cinema. Artists like Are You Real?, Emilya ndMe and Notaqnia collaborate to the project.
Music is like a lucid dream to me. A trip across the Universe. I’m searching for the deepest connection, from the heart of men to the infinite cosmic soul.
Mått Mun is recording his third album.

The new album by Mått Mun is a synth-wave trip inspired by one or the greatest cosmic elements: light. But the 80s fascination and the cosmic imaginary are also mixed with cyberpunk visions and industrial vibes, like in the music video of Waves, which is a clear homage to certain sci-fi cinema. “I’m searching for the deepest connection” states Mattia, “from the heart of men to the infinite cosmic soul.”
